Have you seen this symbol? This is the Sanskrit word for AUM/OM. Aum/Om is the most sacred Hindu Mantra. Just as the U is to the Christian, the \ is an indicator of the Hindu religion. 

However, true to the theft of numerous Hindu/Sanskrit terms (yoga, swastika, mantra, karma, guru, pandit, chakra, kundalini, etc.), one can find phony yoga teachers and studios abusing this most sacred Hindu symbol.

Even the U.S. government, Veteran Affairs* realizes what phony yoga does not. The \ is also an officially recognized symbol for the Hindu religion. This symbol can be used, for example, to commemorate fallen Hindu soldiers. It is past time for phony yoga/yogis/yoginis to wake up and see the "obvious."
